LETTER: Polimeno Should Be Re-Elected To School Committee

Reader says the town is fortunate to have Polimeno on the School Committee.

To the Editor:

I am writing to express my support for Krissy Polimeno, candidate for Re-Election of the Tewksbury School Committee. I have had the pleasure of knowing Krissy for several years and I admire her for so many reasons. First, she is a wonderful mom to her three blessed children. Family is of utmost importance to her. Her commitment to her children is reflected in everything she does. Whether she is coaching numerous sporting teams, volunteering in the classrooms or just cheering from the sidelines, I have watched her do all of these things beaming with pride. I am confident that the School Committee will continue to benefit tremendously with Krissy remaining on it, as she will demonstrate the same spirit and enthusiasm for all the children of Tewksbury.

Krissy and I have worked together on numerous school functions. This past November, I was fortunate enough to work with her on our Town Wide Auction. Without Krissy’s efforts and tireless dedication, that event would not have been so successful. There have certainly been others who have had ideas similar to this, but they never had the determination to get it off the ground. Krissy put her ideas into action and worked day and night helping numerous volunteers bring this event to life. It was a complete success and we fully accomplished our goal of giving back to the Town of Tewksbury. I have no doubt that she will devote the same effort level when she is re-elected.

Our town is very fortunate to have someone like Krissy working/volunteering on our behalf. I know that Krissy’s primary objective as a School Committee member will be meeting the needs of our children. Not only because her own three children are part of the Tewksbury school system, but also because she is an advocate for all the children in Tewksbury. As a former educator herself, Krissy knows the importance of class size, teacher to student ratio, teacher needs and school wide needs. I have complete faith that she will continue to bring new ideas and energy to our School Committee and our children will benefit with her as a member. As a mother of two children in the Tewksbury school system, I will proudly cast my vote for Krissy Polimeno on April 6th.
