LETTER: Puccia Deserves Election To The School Committee

To the Editor:

The Tewksbury Community is so fortunate to have a woman like Lisa Puccia step forward to run for Tewksbury School Committee.  As a good friend of Lisa for many years, I am writing this letter to enthusiastically support her endeavor.

As a mother of four school aged children, I have never seen anyone who has the energy that she exhibits.  Whether it is as a CCD teacher, basketball coach, or volunteer in her community, Lisa has always been involved in every aspect of her children’s lives.

I have also had the distinct pleasure of working with Lisa for the non-profit agency Liam Nation, Inc., an organization that raises awareness and provides funding and support to help improve the lives of people with physical and cognitive disabilities.  Lisa has been an invaluable asset to this organization as she has had the vast experience of running a non-profit organization.   

 Lisa understands the needs of ALL the children and has a solid understanding of the educational system.  I’ve never met someone who has so much passion, knowledge, and experience in helping families work together successfully with their school district, even those districts outside of Tewksbury. 

I am honored to have the opportunity to support and recommend Lisa Puccia for this position.  She will be an amazing asset to the Tewksbury School Committee.
