Letter To The Editor: Candidate for Selectman

Letters may be sent to williamg@patch.com

I, Robert Marcin, hereby announce my candidacy for town Selectman. Using my experience with Tewksbury’s town government, I plan to be a voice for those who believe that we as residents should have a say in the decisions that affect our town. I believe in the individual vote and maintaining the structure of our town charter. In addition to my stance on the town voting structure, I aim towards improving taxes on our real estate, water, and sewer.

As a resident of Tewksbury for over 30 years, I have made an effort towards being as involved as I can with the town and its residents. I have been a local business owner, a member of the Finance Committee and Zoning Board of Appeal, as well as a figure in youth sports formerly serving as president of youth basketball and manager of youth baseball.

If elected, I pledge to put my best foot forward to continue to be a positive figure within our town government. I will make sure that each resident still has a voice in town meetings, and always strive towards tax breaks for our residents.

Sincerely Yours,
