Letter To The Editor: Support David Gay

On April 14^th, I would like you to consider voting for my father, David H. Gay, for Selectman. Between his time on the Planning Board and the Board of Selectmen, he has six years of experience as an elected official. During this time, he’s accomplished a lot. Tewksbury will soon be welcoming Thermo-Fisher to town and the 200 jobs they’ll bring with them. Ocean State Job Lot recently opened where there used to be a large vacant building. It is far less likely that these businesses would be here if David and his fellow Economic Development Committee members hadn’t worked so hard to make Tewksbury an Economic Target Area.

Development, however, is only one thing my father has on his plate. He’s out four to five nights each week meeting with the committees he’s on or with concerned residents. Being on the board isn’t an easy job, but he is always up for the task. As a selectman he’s been incredibly accessible to everyone in the town, and an excellent example of what every public official should b. This town is moving in the right direction, and to keep it going this way we need the right people leading us. I think my father David is the man for the job. Vote April 14 to re-elect David H. Gay.
