LETTER: Wentworth Has Earned A Seat On The Board of Selectmen

Reader says Wentworth has new and innovative ideas and a track record of service.

To the Editor:

I am writing this letter in support of Jim Wentworth and his campaign for a seat on the Tewksbury Board of Selectmen.

As the Vice Chairman on the most recent Town Manager Screening Committee, I was able to see first-hand just how passionate Jim was in choosing the best candidate that could help lead our town.  He was a member on the Economic Development Committee and is consistently delivering new ideas and thoughts about how we can grow the commercial tax base in our town. Jim’s dedication and hard work was instrumental in educating the residents and ultimately getting out the vote that resulted in the building of the new Tewksbury Memorial High School.

Giving back is nothing new for Jim and his family.  Along with his wife Kelly, they have run the Treats for Troops program that sends care packages to our troops overseas. Jim’s oldest daughter, Katelyn, just completed her second successful Teens for Jeans drive that collected and donated 182 pairs of jeans.  The ideals and values of continuously giving back to the community in numerous different capacities is a trademark of the Wentworth family.

Please join me in casting a vote on April 6th, 2013 for Jim Wentworth to the Tewksbury Board of Selectmen.
