Local Malls Announce Extended Hours for Black Friday Shopping

Simon announced on Tuesday that Simon Malls and Simon Premium Outlets in New England will have extended holiday hours beginning on Black Friday, Nov. 27.

• In Massachusetts and Maine (Kittery Premium Outlets), Simon Malls and Simon Premium Outlets will open at12:01a.m. on Black Friday, Nov. 27. The exceptions are Copley Place and The Shops at Chestnut Hill which will open at 8 a.m. on Black Friday.

• In New Hampshire, the Simon malls and Simon Premium Outlets will open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 26. The Malls and Centers will then close at 1 a.m., and re-open at 6 a.m. on Black Friday. It is anticipated that some stores, especially the department stores like Macy’s and Sears, may choose to remain open throughout the night where allowed.

• Simon Malls and Simon Premium Outlets will close at 10 p.m., and Copley Place and The Shops at Chestnut Hill will close at 9 p.m. on Black Friday, Nov. 27.

During the holiday season, select Simon Malls and Simon Premium Outlets will provide unique seasonal amenities, promotions, community partnerships, and entertainment including:

• Greeters: Select Simon Malls and Premium Outlets will have greeters on Black Friday and some properties will have greeters during peak shopping times throughout the holiday shopping season. The greeters will serve as another resource for shoppers to learn about the latest deals and promotions being offered on that particular day, store locations, and more.

• Holiday Entertainment: Select Simon Malls and Premium Outlets will host local holiday entertainment including carolers, choral groups, and other merry-makers, adding to the festive shopping environment.

• Charity Giving Trees + Food Pantry Donations: Select Simon Malls and Simon Premium Outlets will give shoppers the opportunity to make a holiday wish come true for local children and those in need as well as provide food donations for community organizations.

• Charity Gift Wrap: At select Simon Malls local charities will provide gift wrap services to shoppers beginning BlackFriday through Christmas Eve. 100% of the proceeds will directly benefit the charity.

• Surprise & Delight: Throughout the holiday season, certain Simon Malls and Simon Premium Outlets will be bringing its holiday ‘Spread Love’ campaign to life by surprising randomly selected shoppers with free Simon Giftcards®, holiday treats, retail swag, and more!

• Simon’s FREE Simon iPhone/Smart Phone Application: Allows shoppers to check Mall and Center hours, special deals, promotions, maps, directions, check giftcard balances and more.

• Simon® Giftcard: Giftcards continue to be a very popular gift choice and with the holiday season upon us, we offer festive Simon American Express® and Visa Giftcards.
