Man Robbed Person, Threatened To Kill Them, Tewksbury Police Say
A man is facing charges after he stole a victim's belongings and threatened them, according to police.
TEWKSBURY, MA — A man is accused of robbing a person and threatening to kill them, according to police.
Police were called to the area of 95 Main St. on Saturday at 1:22 p.m. on a report of an unarmed robbery.
The caller told police that Alphonso Walker Jr., 28, of Lowell, took his jacket, iPhone, and other belongings and threatened to kill him during an argument, police said.

Police conducted a search of the area and eventually found Walker hiding in the area of 85 Main St.
He was taken into custody following a brief struggle. Police recovered the stolen belongings.

Walker was charged with unarmed robbery, larceny from a person, two counts of resisting arrest, and threatening to commit a crime.
He was arraigned in Lowell District Court.
