Man Tells Police He Was Kidnapped, Held At Motel 6

A motel room a the Motel 6 on Route 38 was being investigated as a possible crime scene after a man claimed he had been kidnapped and held there.
On Wednesday, around 9:30 a.m., Lowell Police called their Tewksbury counterparts to report they had a man who claimed he had been kidnapped from Dorchester, held for a time in a room at the Motel 6 and later carjacked in Lowell.
Tewksbury Police_ took the claim seriously, bringing in a CSI unit to scour the motel room. The victim was brought back to Tewksbury Police Headquarters and a report was filed. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers find evidence of homeless encampment
On Wednesday, Dec. 26, Tewksbury Police received a call from an employee of B&M Railroad, reporting something suspicious, possibly a person, laying near the tracks.

Officers responded to the scene and found a blue tarp and other items that may have belonged to a homeless person camping out there. However, there was no person located. Later, while searching under the Route 38 overpass, an officer found additional items that appeared to belong to a homeless person.
Ninja Elves, Perhaps?
On Monday, Dec. 24, a resident called police at 8:13 p.m. and reported they just saw a driver drop off three teenagers on Trull road and that the teens were all dressed in black. The caller also said it looked like the teens were sneaking around in the area of a white fence near a home.
Officers responded to the scene and the owner of the home in question arrived home a short time later. The officers and the homeowner discovered a plate of cookies had been left on the homeowner's front steps by an anonymous gift giver.
Arrest:
Arthur Scott Bernier, 41, 600 Bullfinch Drive, Unit 508, Andover, was arrested on Tuesday, Dec. 25 on an outstanding warrant and was also charged with violating an abuse prevention order.
