Marion Ann Capano, 76, Longtime Tewksbury Resident
Marion worked at Shawsheen Technical School in Billerica and at DRC in Wilmington.

TEWKSBURY, MA - Mrs. Marion Ann (Homer) Capano, age 76, a resident of Tewksbury for more than five decades, died peacefully at the home of her daughter in Burlington, in the loving care of her family on Monday morning, February 22. She was the wife of the late Albert Capano Sr, who died in 1991.
She was born in Chelsea, one of nine children of the late Joseph and Marion (Barry) Homer, and raised in Chelsea. She moved to Tewksbury in 1963, to raise her family. In addition to her work as a mother, she worked at DRC in Wilmington, and later for the school lunch program at Shawsheen Technical School in Billerica.

She especially loved spending time with her family, loved dogs, trips to Las Vegas with her sisters, shopping, “dressing up” for the Fourth of July, and watching the Pat’s at Auntie “Koo-Koo’s” house.
She leaves her children, Lisa Tabor of Burlington, with whom she resided, Laureen Morris and her husband Russell of Tewksbury, Paul Capano Sr. of Tewksbury; her niece and “daughter” Kim (Johnson) Hynes of Tewksbury; a sister, Alice Generazzo of Wakefield; her grandchildren, KeriAnne Morris, Russell Morris Jr., Paul Capano Jr., Patrick Capano, Sara Capano, Cody Capano, Isabella Capano, Jessica Capano, Jennifer Capano, Albert Capano III, Taylor Tabor, Kyle Tabor, Nicole Hynes, and Scottie Hynes Jr; great grandchildren, Zachary Mallon, Aedan O’Brien, and Jayani Capano; a daughter-in-law, Madeline Capano; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph Homer, Donald Homer, Billy Homer, Sonny Homer, and sisters, Barbara Johnson, Beatrice Lovett, and Dorothy Gretsky.
Visiting hours Thursday, Feb. 25, from 4-8 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey St. and 975 Main St. (Rte. 38) Tewksbury Center. Her funeral will begin Friday, Feb. 26, at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Dorothy’s Church, corner of Main Street and Harndon Street. (Rte. 38) Wilmington. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association Of MA/NH, 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02472 (alz.org) will be appreciated.
