
Michael J. Vendetti, age 90, formerly of Boston’s North End, was received into the arms of our Lord on December 22, 2012. Michael was born on January 26, 1922 and raised in Boston’s West End, a son of the late Nicola and Raffella (Scriaffa) Vendetti. Michael was a retired professional horse trainer. He spent many years working at racetracks throughout the New England area. He also worked evenings at the Suffolk County Courthouse.
Michael was the devoted husband of Angelina M. (DeFlumeri) Vendetti. They celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary on December 20th. He was the loving and devoted father of Debbie Albano and her husband Jim of Tewksbury with whom he resided over the last two years. He was also the adored and cherished grandpa of Michael Albano and Jenna Albano. He was the brother of Joe Vendetti and Mary Emmons and he also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Pasquale, George and John Vendetti.

Michael loved to spend time with his family. He also enjoyed the outdoors. Even through his Alzheimer’s disease, he kept a cheerful and pleasant spirit.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to celebrate his life at a funeral mass on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 11:30am in St. William’s Church 1351 Main St. Tewksbury, MA. At his request visiting hours are omitted. Memorial donations may be made to Community Family Adult Day Health Center, 236 Broadway St. Lowell, MA 01854 will be appreciated.
