New Fire Prevention Officer Announced
Officials also announce new location of town's Fire Prevention Office.

Tewksbury Fire Chief Michael Hazel has announced Jon Viscione is the town’s new fire prevention officer, and is also updating residents on changes to the office location.
Effective Monday, August 10 the Tewksbury Fire Prevention Office moved to the South Fire Station, located at 2342 Main St.
All commercial sprinkler and alarm permits will be issued at the South Station, along with commercial and residential plan review.

Captain Jon Viscione is the new fire prevention officer. His office hours are Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Smoke detector inspections for the sale of a home will continue to be scheduled at the Center Fire Station located at 21 Town Hall Ave. during regular business hours.
