One year ago today, Tewksbury and the Merrimack Valley were blanteted in what became know as "Snowtober."

The blizzard caught state and local officials and utility companies off guard. After all, who would expect a major blizzard before Halloween? By the time it was done, nearly two feet of snow had fallen and millions were without power.
