Moped Driver Severely Injured In Crash Involving School Bus
The scooter driver was flown to a Boston hospital with "significant" injuries, officials said. No other injuries were reported.

LOWELL, MA — Massachusetts State Police and Lowell police are investigating the cause of a Monday morning accident involving a school bus and a moped, officials said.
The crash happened around 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of South and Appleton in Lowell, Deputy Superintendent Mark LeBlanc told Patch.
Crews arrived to find the moped driver pinned under the bus. Paramedics took him via helicopterto a Boston hospital, where he is in critical condition, LeBlanc said.

Ten students from Cardinal O'Connell Early Learning Center were onboard, but none were injured.
