Police Log: Multiple Reports of Car Break-Ins

The following information is provided by the Tewksbury Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.


Sunday, Sept. 22

1:51 a.m. A caller from Fahey Place Apartments reported a female was screaming from inside a vehicle. Officers spoke with the individual in question and everything checked out.

1:17 a.m. Officers conducting an incident follow up at 527 Shawsheen Street arrested Peter D. Chiaramonte Jr. of 527 Shawsheen Street, Tewksbury, for domestic assault and battery.

7:02 a.m. A caller on James Ave. reported she believed her car was rummaged through overnight but that nothing was taken.

8:20 a.m. A caller at 230 North Billerica Road reported someone broke into his vehicle overnight, however there wasn't anything taken. 

8:35 a.m. A caller at 338 North Billerica Road reported someone broke into his father's vehicle overnight but nothing was taken.

9:06 a.m. A caller at 11 Heidenrich Drive reported someone broke into his vehicle overnight, however there wasn't anything taken. 

9:23 a.m. A caller at 19 Park Ave reported someone broke into her cat and stole a Nintendo DS out of the vehicle. 

10:52 a.m. A caller reported a male with multiple warrants was walking in the area of McLaren Road. Kenneth J. Yandle, of 49 Mount Pleasant St., N. Billerica, was arrested on multiple warrants.

11:49 a.m. A caller at 41 Heidenrich Drive reported someone broke into his vehicle overnight but nothing was taken.
