Police Officers Help To Retrieve Cat From ... a House

Tewksbury Police received a call on Monday, Jan. 7 at around 6:30 p.m., from a woman requesting help getting her cat back.

According to the police report, the woman said her cat was at her friend's house and that the friend had been taking care of the cat while she'd been out of town.

The woman told officers that her friend's son had been calling her and threatening her because the cat had been urinating and leaving feces all over the house. The woman said she wanted to have an officer with her when she went to the home to get her cat back.

An officer did accompany her and the cat was retrieved without incident.

Arrests:

Randy H. White, 57, 208 Pringle St., Tewksbury, was arrested on Jan. 9 and charged with driving a motor vehicle with a suspended license and a sticker violation.

Additional Incidents:

On Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 9:58 a.m., rescue crews responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 495. According to the report, a car travelling in the southbound lane just south of the Route 133 exit ran off the road and into the tree line. One person was taken to Lawrence General Hospital for treatment of injuries.

On Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 10:24 a.m., rescue crews responded to a single car accident near 270 Shawsheen St. One person was injured and transported to Lowell General Saints Campus.

On Monday, Jan. 7, at 4:46 p.m., a man walked into Police Headquarters and reported that a Honda 6500 generator was stolen from the back of his truck, while it was parked at Weitz Construction, 1605 Andover St.
