Owner of HK Bodyworks Arrested on Prostitution Charges

Police received information that prostitution was occurring inside the business between the staff members and male customers.

The owner of a Tewksbury massage parlor is facing several charges after an investigation found prostitution occurring inside the business.

On Dec. 18, detectives from the Tewksbury Police Department conducted a thorough investigation into the “HK Bodyworks” massage parlor, which is located at 853 Main St. (Suite #200). More specifically, members of the Tewksbury Detective Bureau received information that prostitution was occurring inside the massage parlor between the staff members and their visiting male customers.

Following that undercover operation, Cheung Wan Li, 50, of 25 James O’Neill St. (Apartment #501) in Boston, was arrested and criminally charged for “Sexual Conduct For a Fee” and “Keeping a House of Ill Fame.” Cheung Wan Li is the registered business owner of “HK Bodyworks” and Li was also working as an operational employee at the time of her arrest.

Cheung Wan Li was due to be arraigned at Lowell District Court on Dec. 21.
