The Tewksbury High boys' basketball team played a strong second half Friday night at home against Haverhill. Unfortunately, it came after one of their worst halves of basketball this season.

The Redmen fell behind 46-16 after two quarters and fell to the Hillies, 78-52. It was the first loss at home this season for the Redmen (4-4). Kevin Dick had 11 points to pace the TMHS offense. Haverhill got a game-high 28 points from Matt Jameson.
Junior guard Kevin Dick's 11 points led Tewksbury, which fell to 4-4 and will next host Central Catholic on Tuesday. Matt Jameson scored a career-high 28 points,

Tewksbury/Methuen 1, Concord-Carlisle 1
The Red Rangers remained unbeaten in their first-ever season, battling to a 1-1 tie against Concord-Carlisle.
Tewksbury/Methuen trailed in the third period before Amanda Conway scored the equalizer. Conway has scored in every game this season for the Red Rangers.
Taylor Lirakis played another brilliant game in net for the Red Rangers, turning aside 37 shots to preserve the tie,
Boys' Ice Hockey
Tewksbury 4, Concord-Carlisle 0
Goalie Kyle Paquette recorded his second straight shutout to lead Tewksbury past Concord-Carlisle, 4-0 on Saturday at the Breakaway Ice Center. Paquette got great support from his defense and finished with 12 saves.
The Petti brothers once again paced the offense for the Redmen. Senior Derek had two assists to go along with a shorthanded goal in the first period. Sophomore Ryan scored twice. Pat Doherty also scored for Tewksbury.
Tewksbury ran their unbeaten streak to six and improved to 5-1-1 on the season.
