The Red Rangers remained unbeaten on the season (3-0-2) with a 3-0 whitewash of Belmont High on Wednesday. Taylor Lirakis continued to be a brick wall between the pipes for Tewksbury/Methuen, finishing with 35 saves to post another shutout. The offense, as it has much of the early season, came off the stick of Amanda Conway, who posted her fourth hat trick. Through five games, Conway has a jaw-dropping 13 goals and one assist. Kelly Golini added two assists and Kathleen LeFebvre had one assist in the win over Belmont. Despite being unbeaten, Tewksbury/Methuen has <a href="http://www.boston.com/partners/globesports/schools/201213/rankings/59.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">yet to crack the Boston Globe Top 20. </a> The Red Rangers will face their stiffest test of the season on Wednesday night (Jan. 9), when they travel to the Nashua Valley Olympia (Route 111, Boxborough) to take on <a href="http://www.boston.com/partners/globesports/schools/201213/rankings/59.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">No. 14 Acton-Boxboro Regional.</a> The puck is scheduled to drop at 8:10 p.m.
