Road Closures, Detours Expected Next Month For Tewksbury Project

TEWKSBURY, MA — Construction has begun on the Fiske Street sidewalk improvement project in Tewksbury. The contractor's work hours are Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., excluding holidays. The work is expected to be completed by mid-October.

There will be a road closure and detour in place for Fiske Street beginning in early July, according to a statement from the town. The road will be closed to traffic during work hours, and drivers will be detoured around the work zone.

Local residents will have access to their homes during construction. The road closure and detour will be in place for the duration of the project.
