Roads Closed In 3 Merrimack Valley Towns Due To Water Main Breaks
More than 100 houses are without water in Tewksbury, Lawrence and Methuen after "major" water main breaks, police said.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Police in Lawrence, Tewksbury and Methuen said their towns had experienced "major" water main breaks that might affect water service to nearby homes Monday morning.
Radcliff Road in Tewksbury is closed and "will remain impassable for several hours," the police department said. The Tewksbury Department of Public Works is on the scene.
Tewksbury homes in the area pf North Street, Catamount Road and Ames Hill Drive may not have water service for a few hours, according to police.

Officials in Methuen are asking people to avoid the area of Oakland Avenue near Railroad Street. More then 100 homes are without water, according to the city government. Work crews are onsite.
Allston Street between Howard and High Streets in Lawrence is closed while crews handle a water main break in the middle of the road, the Lawrence Police Department said.
