The bridge deck at Rte. 38 over the railroad tracks in Tewksbury will be undergoing paving work Sunday night and that's going to mean some travel delays in that area. The MassDOT wants motorists to know that work will occur on Sunday, Nov. 15 by contractor Brox Industries, Inc. The work is scheduled to take place Sunday from 5-8:30 p.m. Traffic will be reduced to one lane alternating traffic during paving operations. VMS boards will be activated to notify motorists of paving operations.MassDOT encourages drivers to avoid the area and seek alternate routes to minimize delays. Those traveling through the area should expect delays and should reduce speed and use caution. The schedule for this major infrastructure project is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
