Tewksbury Memorial High School juniors and seniors gathered in the parking lot of the school Tuesday morning to watch a scenario play out in which six of their classmates were involved in a mock car accident precipitated by drunk driving.
Junior John Saunders, portraying the drunk driver, collided with a car carrying junior Sydney Sturdevant, senior Kelli Sugrue, junior Brooke Lavoie and junior Rachel Pruyne.
Senior Cam Oliveria portrayed a passenger riding in the car with Saunders.

Junior Helen Woods and senior Ally Lewis did the makeup for the students acting as victims in the crash.
Members of the Tewksbury Fire Department and Tewksbury Police Department also participated in the mock accident, using the jaws of life to accurately demonstrate the actions taken by first responders at the scene of car wreck.
