TEWKSBURY, MA — The Tewksbury Community Market will host over 30 vendors at its final market of the season on Thursday.
The market will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Livingston Street Park, located at 88 Livingston St., behind the Recreation Center.
The Tewksbury Community Market, which is organized through the Tewksbury Public Library, recently was voted the third most popular farmers market in Massachusetts by the American Farmland Trust.

According to organizers, the market hosted 30 to 35 vendors each week for 16 weeks this season, with a total of 75 vendors participating at some point.
"The market continues to improve, year after year," Robert Hayes, Tewksbury's Community Outreach Librarian and a co-manager of the market, told Patch. "Alex Lowder, who is the town's community/economic development planner co-manager of the market, handled vendor relations this year, including the recruitment and scheduling of all the vendors. Alex did a tremendous job as the market welcomed more than 20 new vendors this season."

Hayes said that he encourages people looking for a local farmers market this winter to visit the Chelmsford Winters Farmers Market at Maxwell's in Chelmsford, located at 24 Maple Road. That market takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays from November to March and is located in a heated greenhouse.
The first Chelmsford Winters Farmers Market is scheduled for Nov. 5
"Many of our (Tewksbury Community Market) vendors also are vendors at the Chelmsford market," Hayes said.
