Shaine G. Spencer Named to 'Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges'

Shaine G. Spencer of Tewksbury, majoring in Biomedical Engineering at Western New England University, has been selected for inclusion in the 2015-2016 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.” Spencer is one of 36 students from Western New England University who have been selected as national outstanding campus leaders.

The university’s nominating committee and editors of the annual directory have included Spencer based on academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.

Western New England University is a private, independent, coeducational institution founded in 1919. Located on an attractive 215-acre suburban campus in Springfield, Massachusetts, Western New England serves 3,980 students, including 2,590 full-time undergraduate students. Undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs are offered through Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, Pharmacy, and the School of Law.
