Suspicious Men Arrested in Wal-Mart Parking Lot
The following is an excerpt from the Tewksbury Police Department logs. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Arrests
At 8:18 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, loss prevention at Wal-Mart requested assistance with a woman who was shoplifting. Michelle L. Baron, 47, of 106 Park Ave. West Unit Apt. 5, Lowell, was arrested and charged with shoplifting greater than $100 by asportation.
On Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 11:47 a.m. officers stopped to check on two suspicious men walking in the parking lot of Wal-Mart. Both of the men had warrants out for their arrest. Justin G. Mercer, 33, of 119 French Street, Tewksbury, was arrested on a warrant for violating an abuse prevention order. Dustin Lockhart, 29, of the same address, was arrested on a warrant for an uninsured motor vehicle and suspended registration.

At 9:10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, police were called to Oakdale Mall for an incident follow up. Officers were in the parking lot with a Massachusetts registered vehicle. Following the incident, Danielle M. Salie, 25, of 18 Tanglewood Ave., Tewksbury, was charged with larceny over $250 and larceny under $250.

Wednesday, Feb. 19
- At 2:54 p.m. a man walked into the station to report that he let someone borrow his car a few months ago but never got it back. He claims that the woman lives in Tewksbury. An officer checked into the matter, but reported that the woman no longer lives in town. The owner of the car will report it to his local police department.
Thursday, Feb. 20
- At 2:11 a.m. a 911 caller reported he was leaving work at the Demoula’s warehouse when he heard a woman yell for help twice from a car across the parking lot. The caller said the woman was in a small dark colored sedan with a man and a young child. The caller said the man said they were all set. Police responded to the scene and reported it was a miscommunication and a verbal argument only, adding that the woman was not calling for help.
