SUV Crashes into Pole in Tewksbury

A vehicle reportedly struck a pole on Livingston Street in Tewksbury earlier today.

The SUV involved in the crash, a 2002 Kia, struck the pole Tuesday morning, shuttering the street.

The vehicle was towed and the driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital, authorities said. Tewskbury Police officials told Patch they expect the driver to be “just fine.” The driver involved in the accident was not identified.

Livingston Street was closed for about 40 minutes, police said. The street has reopened and is passable to traffic.
