'Tall' Man Damages Mailboxes

The following is an excerpt from the Tewksbury Police log:

'Tall' Man Damages Mailboxes

A caller reported a 17 to 18-year-old, 6-foot-tall male smashing mailboxes as he walked along Beech Street. Officers found that the individual broke mailboxes at the following addresses on Beech Street: 44,48,91 and 109.

Officers spoke with operators of two vehicles who claimed they were looking for their "tall friend who is very upset."

Police did not locate the suspect.

Additional Incidents:

On June 21, at 9:05 p.m., a caller reported fireworks on Fieldstone Circle. The caller said it was possible the fireworks were coming from somewhere on South Street. The individuals were gone on the arrival of an officer.

On June 22, at 9:29 a.m., an employee at the BP station on Main Street said that a man purchased $50 worth of gas and then said he left his wallet at home and would return. The man did not return and an officer filed the incident.

On June 22, at 1:47 p.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident with no injuries at the Citizens Bank on Main Street.

On June 22, at 4:59 p.m. a caller reported a male operator pulling out of Abut's Liquors on Main Street drinking a beer.

On June 22, at 10:09 p.m., a caller reported that he was assaulted on Berkeley Street.

On June 23, at 1:44 a.m., a caller at Ames Hill Drive reported that he had a fight with his girlfriend and that he now wants his engagement ring back.

On June 23, at 4:27 p.m., a caller reported that his mailbox was damaged for the second time this week on Beech Street.

On June 24, at 7:01 p.m. a caller reported that his windshield was maliciously damaged on Whipple Road.

On June 24, at 7:50 p.m. a caller on Boisvert Road reported that his neighbor from behind him was throwing food on his property.
