Tewksbury Coronavirus Positive Rate Still Rising, Slowly: State
The latest two-week municipal-level report shows Tewksbury's positive rate and case count both rising slightly.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury's coronavirus surge has slowed but is still growing, according to the latest state data released Thursday. Nearly a quarter of the town's tests over the last two week were positive.
The town's two-week average positive test rate rose slightly from the prior Thursday's report, from 23.58 percent to 23.96 percent.
The two-week case count also rose, from 1,232 to 1,280, or 296.6 daily cases per 100,000 residents.

The latest single-week report is not yet available from the town, as of midday Friday. In the Jan. 14 report, the town reported a fall in cases relative to Jan. 7.

The latest state data also shows Tewksbury is 73.5 percent fully vaccinated and 38 percent of residents have received a booster shot. Another eight percent of residents are partially vaccinated.
