Tewksbury Dems Toiletries Drive Lasts Until End Of The Month
Items for women and children are being collected and delivered to a local women's shelter. A donation bin is at the Tewksbury Library.
TEWKSBURY, MA — The Tewksbury Democratic Town Committee (TDTC) is reminding residents that they have until the end of the month to contribute to the organization's Toiletries Drive.
The drive, which began on Dec. 1 and runs until Jan. 31, is designed to collect and deliver items to a local shelter for women and children affected by domestic violence. Items can be dropped off in the donation bin at the Tewksbury Memorial Library, 300 Chandler St., next to the honor carts.
Organizers of the drive said they are looking for toiletry items for women and for children from birth to teens. A spokesperson for the TDTC Board told Patch that items like feminine products and diapers are in need.
