Tewksbury Education Foundation Donates Nearly $25,000
Money is being dispersed among all seven Tewksbury schools.

The Tewksbury Education Foundation (TEF) is pleased to announce that their donation of $24,750 was approved by the Tewksbury School Committee. These monies represent funds raised at the School-Wide Auction held on November 15, 2012 at the Tewksbury Country Club.
Superintendent of Schools Dr. John O’Connor provided the TEF a Technology Funding Request based upon the Administration's needs throughout the Tewksbury School District. The following disbursements were allocated due to the TEF and the auction:

- Tewksbury Memorial High School will receive $3,000 worth of iTunes vouchers
- The Wynn Middle School will receive 5 HoverCameras and Destiny Library Software, combined value $3,750
- The Ryan School will receive 6 iPads, total value $3,000
- The Trahan School will receive 1 SmartBoard Responder set and Destiny Library Software, combined value $4,500
- The North Street School will receive 1 SmartBoard Responder set and Destiny Library Software, combined value $4,500
- The Heathbrook School will receive 2 HoverCameras and Destiny Library Software, combined value $3,000
- The Dewing School will receive a SmartBoard Responder set and 2 iPads, combined value $3,000
The TEF and board members Erin Asselin, Laura Hulme, Jenn Malizia and Arthy Bennett would like to thank School Committee Member Krissy Polimeno for her constant support and guidance. Her vision led to the creation of the TEF and wildly successful school-wide auction. We would also like to thank Jamey Cutelis. He was instrumental in preparing the required legal documentation in order to formally establish the TEF.
