The Tewksbury Public Library now offers cardholders access to more than 9 million songs online, including Sony Music Entertainment’s catalog of legendary artists.
This Freegal Music Service allows the library to increase the size and diversity of its musical collection by offering access to over 28,000 music labels from 101 different countries.
Under the terms of the agreement, Tewksbury Public Library cardholders can download five Freegal Music MP3 files to keep each week and stream three hours of music everyday at no direct cost via www.tewksburypl.org. The library will underwrite the purchase of the music. The Freegal Music Service also has popular music videos for download.
