Tewksbury Library's Festival of Trees Begins Friday, Dec. 4
This year's Festival of Trees begins with an Opening Night Gala on Friday, Dec. 4. Trees will be on display until Jan. 4.

The Tewksbury Public Library is proud to announce the return of its annual Festival of Trees, a popular community celebration of the holidays.
The public is invited to visit the library from Dec. 5 to Jan. 4, during regular library hours, to view 40-50 Christmas trees decorated by local businesses, community organizations, schools, churches and families.
This year’s Festival of Trees begins with an Opening Night Gala on Friday, Dec. 4, from 6-8:30 p.m. This free event will feature fun for the entire family, including:

- Kids Concert with Johnny The K (6:15-7 p.m.)
- Handbell Concert with the Granite State Ringers (7:45-8:30 p.m.)
- First look at 40-50 uniquely decorated Christmas trees
- Activities for kids, including letters to Santa and a scavenger hunt
- Activities for teens, including ornament decorating and bingo
- Cookies and cider provided by the Friends of the Library
The library encourages residents to also attend the town’s annual Holiday and Christmas Tree Lighting Event, from 6-7:30 p.m., at the Town Common, and the annual Pie Social, from 6-9 p.m., at the Tewksbury Congregational Church. Try to plan your evening so you can enjoy the library’s gala and these two other wonderful events.
The Festival of Trees is sponsored by library staff and the Friends of the Tewksbury Public Library, with support from a grant from the Tewksbury Cultural Council, a local agency that is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

The Tewksbury Public Library is located at 300 Chandler St., on the corner of Chandler Street and Main Street (Rte. 38), less than a mile from the Town Common.
