Tewksbury Man Dies of Injuries Suffered in July Car Crash

An 80-year-old man died of his injuries suffered in a three-car motor vehicle accident in Tewksbury last week, authorities said.

Forest Winslow, 80, of Tewksbury, died on Sunday, Aug. 2, as a result of his injuries, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office. He suffered serious injuries in the car accident and was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital where he died several days later, the DA’s Office said.

The motor vehicle accident occurred at 1609 Main St. at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 27. Tewksbury Police responded to the accident and found three vehicles with damage and one person injured in the crash.

The Middlesex DA’s Office said an investigation by Tewksbury Police determined Winslow’s vehicle rear-ended a vehicle on Main Street waiting to make a left turn into Tidal Wave Car Wash.
