Tewksbury Pedestrian Hit By Car, Suffers Serious Injuries
The victim, who was not named, was struck Friday near Main Street and airlifted to a hospital. The driver of the car remained at the scene.

TEWKSBURY, MA — The Tewksbury Police Department said it continues to investigate a Friday evening collision in town that resulted in a pedestrian being airlifted to a Boston-area trauma center.
According to the department, at approximately 5:08 p.m., police responded to the area of 270 Main St. after the report of a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Police discovered a pedestrian who reportedly had been struck by a vehicle while crossing the street, police said.

The Nashua PD said the victim had suffered serious injuries and was transported by medical helicopter to a hospital.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.

The Nashua PD did not reveal the name of the victim or driver of the vehicle, nor did the department have any updates on the victim's condition.
The department said it working with the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section on the investigation of the crash.
