Tewksbury Police Arrest Truro Man Who Was Wanted In NH
Police said Adam Howe was a suspect in a Thursday break-in when they discovered he was being sought in NH. He also faces drug charges.

TEWKSBURY, MA —A Truro man was arrested Thursday in Tewksbury after officers investigating a break-in learned the suspect had a warrant out for his arrest in New Hampshire, the Tewksbury Police Department said.
Adam Howe, 34, has been charged with breaking and entering in the nighttime, a felony, fugitive from justice (warrant), and possession of a class B drug, the department said. The suspect was due to be arraigned Friday in Lowell District Court, authorities said.
According to police reports, at about 7 a.m., TPD officers responded to the report of a break-in at an Old Main Street business. At the scene, an employee said they had been the first to arrive at the business, where they encountered the suspect inside the building. The suspect left the building immediately, the employee said.

Police said they were able to identify the suspect as Howe, and they later located the suspect on Main Street.
The TPD said officers arrested Howe after learning he was being sought on a warrant from Salem, New Hampshire, where he was charged with receiving stolen property.

During a search, Tewksbury officers discovered that the suspect was in possession of Suboxone, a Class B substance, without a prescription, according to the department.
