Tewksbury Police Assist in Heroin Drug Trafficking arrest

Arrest was made in Tyngsborough based on an investigation initiated by the Billerica & Tewksbury Police Departments.

Police officers from Tyngsborough, Billerica and Tewksbury made a drug trafficking arrest last week as a result of an investigation initiated by both the Tewksbury and Billerica Police Departments.

On Thursday July 23, officers of the Tyngsborough, Billerica & Tewksbury Police Departments seized 161 individual packets of heroin (approximately 100.8 grams) and (3) individual packets of cocaine (approximately 2.7 grams) at an apartment at 400 Dunstable Road in Tyngsborough. This search was based on an investigation initiated by the Billerica and Tewksbury Police Departments.

The Tyngsborough Police Department has charged Carlos Lebron, 25, of Tyngsborough with trafficking in heroin and possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

Lebron was not at the residence at the time of the search, he was later arrested and arraigned at Lowell District Court and is being held on $10,000 cash bail.
