Tewksbury Police Looking For Suspect In T-Mobile Store Robbery

The department has circulated security camera photos of the suspect wanted in connection with the theft of nearly $6K worth of merchandise.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a theft earlier this week at a local cellphone store.

Police said the incident took place at approximately 7:38 p.m. Monday at T-Mobile, located at 345 Main St., and the suspect took nearly $6,000 worth of electronics. The Tewksbury Police Department has circulated photos of the suspect captured by the store's security camera.

The department said a similar theft took place at a T-Mobile store in a neighboring community, and detectives are investigating whether the same suspect was involved in both incidents.

According to police reports, employees at the store said the suspect entered the business, declined an offer of assistance from employees and then grabbed four iPhones and four Apple Watches before fleeing. The estimated value of the items is $5,929, police said.

The Tewksbury PD said its officers arrived at the scene, canvassed the area and checked video surveillance footage, but they were unable to locate the suspect.
