Tewksbury Public Library Offering Several Programs Next Week
During the week of Aug. 29 through Sept. 2, the library will feature programs that are in person, virtual or on location.

TEWKSBURY, MA —The Tewksbury Public Library revealed a number of in-person, virtual and on-location events coming up next week, Aug. 29 through Sept. 2.
The in-person events take place at the library, located at 300 Chandler St. Registration for the events is available on the library website or by calling 978-640-4490. Registration is recommended for events marked with an asterisk.

- Virtual: Job Search Help: "LinkedIn Laboratory: What Works? What Doesn't?" An interactive session with a career and executive coach. The event is at 2 p.m. Monday.*
- In person: The Broken Heels: Pop and rock hits for Boomers, Gen X, Millennials and Gen Z. The Boston-based cover band specializes in modern hits. The event is at 6 p.m. on Monday.
- In person: Understanding the New Real ID: Learn about the requirements for obtaining the Real ID, a federal identification form that will eventually be required for air travel and entering federal buildings. The event is at 7 p.m. on Monday.*
- Virtual: The Life and Times of President Reagan: Glimpse the many facets of the 40th president. The event is at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.*
- On location: Walking Tour of the Tewksbury Hospital Campus: Explore the history of the legendary Tewksbury State Hospital, which opened its doors in May 1854 as
the State Almshouse. The tour meets in front of the Public Health Museum, 365 East
Street. The event is at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. - In person: "Nazis of Copley Square: The Forgotten Story of the Christian Front": Author Charles Gallagher will discuss his latest book "Nazis of Copley Square." The event is at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.*
- Virtual: From Apollo to Artemis —NASA's Last and Next Missions to the Moon: Join NASA Solar System Ambassador Len Rabinowitz, a retired high school history teacher and lifelong astronomy enthusiast, for a presentation on NASA lunar missions. The event is at 11 a.m. on Aug. 31. *
- In person: The Page-Turners Fiction Book Group: Join the discussion of this month's book "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo" by Taylor Jenkins Reid. The event is at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 31.
- Virtual: We the People —The Story of the U.S. Constitution: Author Eamon McCarthy Earls will speak about the Constitution from the founding of the U.S. to the present day. This event is at 7 p.m. on Aug. 31. *
- Virtual: Explore The National Park Service Units in Massachusetts: There are 16 different locations in the state that are under the jurisdiction of the National Park Service. Guide Steve Farrar takes the audience on a tour of these local places. This event is at 11 a.m. on Sept. 1.*
- On location: Tewksbury Community Market: The market takes place in the parking lot behind the Tewksbury Recreation Center at Livingston Street Park, 288 Livingston Street. This event is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sept. 1.
- Virtual: The Making of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band: Beatles scholar Vinnie Bruno will speak about the making of one of the most iconic records in music history. The event is at 7 p.m. on Sept. 1.*
