Tewksbury Recruits Graduate from Lowell Police Academy
Tewksbury Police Officers Matthew Pelrine and Christopher Adams are both Tewksbury natives.

Tewksbury Police Department graduated two recruit officers from the 2015 Lowell Police Academy at a ceremony held at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium on Friday, Oct. 30.
Incoming Tewksbury Police Officers Matthew Pelrine and Christopher Adams graduated at the 10 a.m. ceremony, after a 24-week intensive academy program hosted by the Lowell and Cambridge Police Departments.

Both young men are Tewksbury natives who graduated local high schools and went on to serve in the United States Armed Forces.
Officer Matthew Pelrine served in the Coast Guard for the past four years and Officer Adams served in the Marine Corps for the past five years.

The Tewksbury Police Department is very proud of their service to our country and have extremely high hopes and expectations for both of them.
The two officers will now begin the department’s comprehensive 12 week Field Training Program.
