Tewksbury Residents Invited to Learn to Kayak on Long Pond

In an effort to encourage residents to take advantage of Tewksbury's natural resources, an upcoming event invites locals to learn to kayak during a program at Long Pond.

The Town of Tewksbury is combining with Still River Outfitters to host Learn to Kayak and Learn to Stand Up Paddle Board, water courses that will be available to adults and children nine years old and above beginning this May.

Each recreational event will take place on Long Pond, with boats, paddles, flotation gear and instruction included in the registration fee.

Each program meets at Long Pond, near Whipple Road and Pleasant Street. There is also a three-day Adventure Kids course available as well.
