Tewksbury School Applauds Service, Volunteerism and The Geography Bee Winner.
Annual Ginsburg Award given to Larry and Sandy Polimeno.

TEWKSBURY, MA -- The Tewksbury School Committee this week presented the annual Ginsburg Award,named for residents Marc and Leisa Ginsburg in recognition of their 26 years of service and philanthropy to the Tewksbury Public Schools, to Larry and Sandy Polimeno, according to the Tewksbury Town Crier.
Joy Beatrice, Laura Hulme, and Mariellen Tsaousiswere recognized as 2017’s Tewksbury Memorial High School Outstanding Volunteers.
Trahan Elementary School student Nathaniel Cason was also recognized for becoming the school’s National Geographic Bee champion. The National Geographic Bee is a geography competition for students in grades 4-8 sponsored by the National Geographic Society in which 10,000 schools nation-wide currently participate.
