Tewksbury Seeking Poll Workers For 2022 Elections

The town's first election of the year is the town election on April 2.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury is seeking new poll workers for the three elections the town will conduct in 2022.

The first election is the annual town election, scheduled for April 2. Poll workers are also needed for the expected Sept. 20 state primary and the Nov. 8 state election.

To become a poll worker, the town said, you must either:

  1. Be a registered Massachusetts voter OR
  2. Be 16 or 17 years old and have permission from your parent/guardian and school

Poll workers check in voters, operate the ballot box and help tally results. They receive training from the town clerk ahead of each election.

You can download the application here or call the Town Clerk's Office at 978-640-4355 to get one emailed to you. Send completed application to the Town Clerk, 1009 Main Street, Tewksbury MA 01867 by mail or in person, fax them to 978-851-8610 or email them to townclerk@tewksbury-ma.gov.
