Tewksbury Will Have Fireworks for the Fourth of July

Fireworks will go off on Sunday night July 5. Family day activities kick off Sunday morning.

It’s official! Tewksbury will have fireworks Fourth of July weekend.

Event organizers say the fireworks are scheduled to go off on Sunday, July 5 at 9:30 p.m. (weather dependent). There will be music beforehand starting at 7 p.m. before ending with the fireworks display. In addition, family day activities kick off Sunday morning.

Last year, plans for fireworks in town had to be scratched, when organizers couldn’t find a location to hold a carnival to pay for the fireworks. This year everything went as planned and the town gets to have its Fourth of July celebration.
