Tewksbury's 2015 Halloween Sex Offender Safety Map

Before the kids go out trick-or-treating on Halloween, it’s a good time to take inventory of who is living in your neighborhood.

Tewksbury has 23 Level 3 sex offenders who either live or work in town, according to the state’s Sex Offender Registry Board.

The Level 3 sex offender designation is reserved for the most severe offenders. Level 3 sex offenders pose a ‘high risk’ to reoffend, according to the state. They are not wanted by police, and it is illegal to use the following information to commit a crime or engage in any discrimination or harassment against an offender.

• James Barker, 42, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of open and gross lewdness and lascivious behavior in October, 2011 and indecent assault and battery on a person age 14 or older in March, 2010.

• Gaetano Bonavitacola, 69, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of rape and abuse of a child and indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 years of age (14 offenses) in January, 1984.

• Vincent Caraballo, 59, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of O/S rape in September, 1990.

• Barry Carver, 72, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of assault with intent to commit rape in March 1970, rape and abuse of a child (2 offenses) and indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 years of age (4 offenses) in September, 1996.

• Brett Cobb, 49, lives at 247 Salem Road. Convicted of rape of child with force (6 offenses) in September, 1992.

• Paul Colman, 70, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of rape and abuse of a child (3 offenses) in March, 1978

• John Lincoln Coughlin, 73, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of indecent assault and battery on a child age 14 or older (6 offenses) October, 2000.

• Thomas Deblois, 53, lives at 1224 Shawsheen St. Convicted of enticing a child under the age of 16 in January 2011.

• Brian James Desmond, 40, works at 35 Dufresne Drive. Convicted of indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older and rape in August, 2001.

• Darrin J. Gallagher, 28, has a secondary residential address of 1307 Archstone Ave. Convicted of O/S aggravated indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 in August, 2013.

• Jeffrey S. King, 58, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 (3 convictions) in September, 2007.

• Thomas Lintwinsky, 64, lives at 1114 Chandler St. Convicted of dissemination of child pornography and the purchase or possession of child pornography in July, 2009.

• Roger Lowther, 76, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of unnatural and lascivious acts with child under 16 (3 offenses) and Indecent assault and battery on child under 14 years of age (7 offenses) in September, 2005.

• Eric Marquez, 38, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older in August, 1999, indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older in October, 1999, indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older in February, 2000 and indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older in October, 2001.

• James McHoul, 72, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of assault with intent to commit rape in June, 1966 and assault with intent to commit rape (2 offenses) in November, 1964.

• Richard Moseley, 67, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of assault with intent to commit rape in November, 1974.

• Dennis Newcomb, 65, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of indecent assault and battery on child under 14 years of age in December, 1996 and indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older in October, 2002.

• Joseph Olson, 58, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older in August, 2004 and open and gross lewdness and lascivious behavior in October, 2006.

• Richard Arnold Peake, Jr., 55, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of O/S rape of a child with force (3 counts) in April, 2000.

• David Polverini, 63, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of rape of a child with force and indecent assault and battery on child under 14 years of age (2 offenses) in August, 1998.

• Strickland Smith, 50, lives at 81 Patrick Road. Convicted of indecent assault and battery on child under 14 years of age in October, 2000 and indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older in April, 2002.

• Philip Theberge, 40, works at 161 Lorum St. Convicted of rape and abuse of child (3 offenses) and indecent assault and battery on child under 14 years of age (3 offenses) in November, 1994, and indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older in July, 2008.

• David William Warn, 66, lives at 365 East St. (Tewksbury Hospital). Convicted of rape and indecent assault and battery on a person age 14 or older in February, 2008. Also convicted of indecent assault and battery on a person age 14 or older in March, 1988.
