Tewksbury's Annual Town Meeting Kicks Off Monday Night

Residents looking to have their voice heard in the town's business will have that opportunity beginning on Monday night.

Annual Town Meeting kicks off at 8 p.m. on Monday inside Tewksbury Memorial High School.

Below is a look at some of the key items that will be discussed at Town Meeting.

Article 4: One item key to most residents is the town's operating budget. That will be discussed during this article, with a vote to follow.

Article 5: Residents are being asked to fund the Sewer Enterprise Fund for Fiscal Year 2015 at a cost of $5,541,468.

Article 6: Similarly, residents are also being asked to fund the Water Enterprise Fund for Fiscal Year 2015 at a cost of $6,272,029.

Article 13: The town seeks $825,000 for the rehabilitation of Tewksbury Town Hall and Town Common. According to the Town Moderator's notes, this article will be postponed to Special Town Meeting on May 7, where an amendment will be presented.
