Tornado Warning for Boston's North Shore Canceled

Parts of Essex County and northern Massachusetts were under a tornado warning until it moved offshore.

A tornado warning was issued just after 12:15 p.m. for parts of the North Shore until 1:15 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. That warning was canceled at 12:30 p.m. when the storm moved offshore.

There were reports of rotation in the Newbury/Newburyport area.

Strong storms are still possible for Tuesday afternoon into evening.
