A tornado warning was issued just after 12:15 p.m. for parts of the North Shore until 1:15 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. That warning was canceled at 12:30 p.m. when the storm moved offshore.There were reports of rotation in the Newbury/Newburyport area.Strong storms are still possible for Tuesday afternoon into evening.MEMA officials warn those in tornado warning area to take shelter in basement or inside room/hall on lowest floor away from windows and outside walls.Patch will continue to update you on the weather situation.
