Arrests Made for OUI Drugs and OUI Liquor

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, November 1 and Sunday, November 3, 2013.
On Friday, November 1 at 8:48 a.m. a caller on Audubon Road reported three suspicious males, one of them possibly a squatter. An officer spoke with them and sent them on their way.
At 10:17 a.m. a Cedar Street resident reported finding a hypodermic needle on the lawn.
At 11:29 a.m. police took a call about a harassment issue between neighbors on Preston Street.
At 11:38 a.m. a tree was reported down on some wires near Ledgewood Road and Montrose Ave.
At 1:57 p.m. a caller reported a suspicious male pulling away on Crescent Hill. Police arrested Christopher R. Baez, 24, 38 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Wakefield and charged him with Possession of a Class B Drug and OUI Drugs.
At 5:21 p.m. a caller reported an individual on North Ave. apparently trying to flag down cars. He turned out to be out of gas.
At 7:59 p.m. a caller reported a suspicious Hispanic woman was emptying a trash bag in an ATM on Main Street. She turned out to work for a cleaning service.
On Saturday, November 2 at 2:18 a.m. police took a noise complaint from Salem Street. The matter was resolved.
At 1:50 p.m. police took a report of a past assault.
At 4:41 p.m. a minor accident was reported in the CVS parking lot on Main Street.
At 11:27 p.m. police spoke with a juvenile spotted removing some items from a driveway near Water Street.
On Sunday, November 3 at 12:17 a.m. police responded to Myrtle Terrace for a report of a verbal family dispute.
At 1:32 a.m.. police arrested Christopher J. Lipps, , 29, 5 N. Main Street, Mansfield, and charged him with OUI Liquor, Negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and speeding.
At 1:58 a.m. an accident with injury was reported on Main Street, with one motorist reportedly having left the scene. Police later issued a summons to a 20 year old Wakefield man and charged him with leaving the scene of an accident and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
At 6:57 a.m. an individual turned in a dog found near the Sheraton.
