Fashion Show/Luncheon Event Coming Up At St. Joseph's

St. Joseph’s Church in Wakefield has announced a fashion show and luncheon event coming up Saturday, November 9 from 1 to 2 p.m. Event sponsored by several area businesses, including Rada Boutique in Wakefield. Looking ahead to Saturday, October 26 at 10 a.m., Officer Meaghan Leary of the Wakefield Police Department will give a talk for kids aged 4 and up on staying safe during the Halloween season.
The Wakefield Parent Partnership reports that it has arranged for Dr. Tina Payne Bryson, co-author of the book “The Whole Brain Child,” to speak and sign books at Galvin Middle School at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. There’s a flu clinic Wednesday, October 23 at Galvin Middle School from 7 to 8 p.m. Vaccine is $10 for those without one of the accepted insurances. For more information call 781-979-4127.
