WAKEFIELD, MA — The basketball courts outside the Galvin Middle School will be closed during the evening hours this week for cleanup and restoration after a messy weekend.

The town said the courts were "damaged by paint splatters" and covered in litter over the weekend.

"We welcome players of all ages to our courts and expect the area to be treated respectfully," the town said.
