2020 Election Results: How Wakefield Voted For Trump, Biden

WAKEFIELD, MA — The dust is still settling on a historic election, and the question of who will be president in 2021 is still unclear. But one thing is clear: Wakefield showed up in support of Democratic candidates, favoring Joe Biden over President Donald Trump and voting to re-elect Sen. Ed Markey and Rep. Seth Moulton.

Wakefield voted in favor of the right to repair ballot question, which won handily in Massachusetts. The town also aligned with the rest of the state on Question 2, opposing ranked-choice voting by a margin of nearly 3,000 votes. The measure failed to pass with 54 percent of voters against and 43 percent in favor.

Turnout was 83 percent in Wakefield, with 16,650 of 20,015 registered voters casting ballots.
